How Immortal Being came to be


I started making the book Immortal Being because I love to draw and write. I first started drawing when I knew how to pick up a pencil and I began writing when I started reading in first grade. I published my first novel in first grade and sent it into a contest, which I did not win :( but I continued to make a lot of new stories. How Immortal Being came to be is, I started off doodling and then I began to draw a girl. With every picture I draw there has to be a story behind it, so I thought of some super natural things, like ghosts. I wanted to have a guy in the back round story too, and then I thought of the boy and girl hunting ghost, but that sounded too much like Ghost Busters, so then I made the boy into a ghost and the girl was going to date him. This originally was an idea for a comic book and it still is but I became so interested in the plot that I made it into a novel. Hope you enjoy! -Alicia R.
